Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

By using Letterhome ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.

What the service does

Letterhome prints the letter content you submit in full colour, places it in an envelope addressed to the recipient you specify, applies Canadian postage, and deposits the envelope with Canada Post for delivery. We are a printing and mailing intermediary. We are not a carrier or a courier.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Pricing and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Domestic letters (to a Canadian address) are $10 CAD. International letters are $20 CAD. These prices include up to 5 documents of full-colour printing, the envelope, postage, and delivery. Payment is processed by Stripe at the time of order. Prices are subject to change; the price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.

Delivery

We aim to mail your letter within one business day of receiving payment. Delivery timelines are estimates based on Canada Post's published service standards and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by Canada Post, customs, or postal services in the destination country.

Prohibited content

You may not use Letterhome to send threats, harassment, fraudulent or deceptive material, illegal content, bulk unsolicited commercial mail (spam), or anything that violates the laws of Canada or the destination country. We reserve the right to refuse any order that we determine violates these conditions, with a full refund.

Order review

Each order is reviewed by a person before printing. This review checks for problems that would prevent delivery (incomplete addresses, unreadable attachments) and for obvious abuse signals (orders that appear fraudulent or contain prohibited content). It is not a content review of your message. If we identify a problem, we'll contact you before printing or charging. If the order is prohibited, we'll cancel and refund it. We don't read, share or store your letter content beyond what's needed to print and post it.

Refund policy

All sales are final. Once payment is received, the printing, postage and trip to the post office are committed and refunds are not available. If a letter doesn't arrive in its expected window and the order details on our end were correct, we'll reprint and resend at no charge. Full details in our Refund Policy.

Limitation of liability

Letterhome's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for consequential damages, missed deadlines, or losses arising from postal delays, lost mail or incorrect addresses. For time-sensitive legal documents, we recommend a tracked or registered mail option. Contact us before placing your order for a quote.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
